Quickstart
This page takes you from invitation to a working session: sign in, install and pair, connect Claude Code, then run your first session.
What you need
- A Mac. v1 runs on macOS.
- Node 18 or newer.
- Claude Code. Codex support is likely but not yet confirmed; Claude Code is what we support first.
- Your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key.
- An invitation. Fibonna is invite-only for now; you can apply on the home page.
1. Sign in
Go to https://app.fibonna.com and sign in with Google, using the address your invitation went to.
2. Install and pair this Mac
In a terminal, run:
npx fibonna
This installs Fibonna on your Mac and pairs it with your account. It prints a code and a link. Open the link, check that the code matches the one in your terminal, and approve.
3. Enter your API key
When the installer asks, paste your OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Fibonna uses it to ask that provider to do a small number of jobs for you, such as summarising a session when you hand off. The provider bills you directly. The complete list of what is sent, and what is not, is under "What leaves your stack" on the privacy page.
4. Connect Claude Code
Add Fibonna to Claude Code as a connector. The Claude Code guide has the one command and the sign-in. Using ChatGPT instead? See the ChatGPT guide.
5. Run /first-run
Open Claude Code in a project folder and run:
/first-run
It walks you through your first session.
6. The next day
Start a new session in the same project and ask:
What did we decide yesterday?
Your agent answers from what Fibonna saved. To see everything your agent can do with Fibonna, read the tool reference.
If something goes wrong
Run
fibonna doctor. It checks the install, the pairing and the connection, and says what to fix. If that does not help, email [email protected] and include what it printed.
